1) Be a member of SCI ( you can join SCI online) and

2) Be a Professional member in good standing of APHA.

 

When your application is received by Sportsman's Insurance Agency, they will contact the APHA office to check and see if the applicant is a APHA Professional member in good standing for this program.

 

The APHA Board of Directors has defined a Professional member in good standing for this program as those APHA Professional members who are participating in or those members who have pledged to participate the Non Resident Hunter Preservation Fund program. To pledge to participate please call the APHA office. The pledge reads as follows:

 

 Pledge to Participate in the Alaska Non-Resident Hunting Preservation Fund
 I agree, as a Professional Member of APHA, to participate in the Alaska Non-Resident Hunting Preservation Fund (NRHPF)program which substantially helps to support the long-term sustainability of non-resident hunting opportunity and the professional guide industry within Alaska. By agreeing to this pledge I herby agree to facilitate the $150.00 NRHPF fee per client to APHA.
